Mrs & Mrs Christmas were partly inspired by a large teddy in one of the early inspiration books, but mostly, I made them because of “santiclors bear” who was designed by Gwenny, who I knew when she was a very little girl indeed. She’s an awful lot more grown up now but the bear has remained one of the most popular patterns on the site.

The two large bears are worked on a rectangle or two interlocking squares and santiclors is on the teddy board.
